The first thing we're getting if and when we buy a house: dog. Perhaps a Brittany, my favorite breed. Or a pug. Sierra needs a playmate. Shelby is getting a little old, she's 7 this year (49 in doggie years). You should have seen her when Jess was pregnant for Sierra, she was so protective of Jess, she knew.
LOVE the pictures. Hey! Shelby's your dog? And she IGNORED Minnie's blog post? BAD dog, Shelby, baaaaaaaad dog! Bad form. Not cricket.
Seriously, Shelby is a beautiful pooch! My big dog lived to be 15--so sometimes seven ain't that old...No idea why--he didn't eat yogurt or anything. Smoked and drank every day of his life...
(Pet Note: Baby carrots are an ideal pet snack. Most love 'em...)
Shelby is my mother-in-law's dog, and yes, she contributed a comment to Minnie's post. I know there's some 30 comments of doggie talk there but she's in there, albeit a tad on the late side to the doggie party. Call it fashionably late.

Oh Sierra loves Shelby, when she was 6 months old or so on a Thanksgiving visit, she couldn't get enough of her, she laughed and laughed and even mentioning Shelby as "a funny lookin' kid" she would laugh.
